Healthy Cities
a) Pick a city in Brazil, identify and list four problems, one related to each characteristic – explicit political commitment, leadership, institutional change and inter-sectoral partnership. Which do you think is the overarching problem?
b) Identify a city (outside Brazil) which you feel best exemplifies the four characteristics. Describe it briefly (Try to choose a city which you feel the Brazilian city will find easier to emulate).
c) What will be the challenges in your Brazilian city of choice in implementing programs / activities / changes to resolve the problems you have identified?
